We offer coaching to youth ages 5-18 years old who are interested in improving their physical fitness and teamwork skills. We strive to encourage kids to explore new skill sets, meet their potential, build their confidence, and have fun.
Athletes in our Track and Field program will compete with kids in their age group in city-wide meets. Competitions include various athletic events based on running, jumping, and throwing. Running events include the 50, 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1600 meter races as well as the 400 meter (4 X 100) relay. Field events include Long Jump, Turbo Javelin, Softball Throw and Shot Put.
Registration begins in February and practices (twice per week) occur at David Rogers Park & QA Bowl (track) beginning mid-March. Track meets will be held at West Seattle Stadium beginning in early April. There are approximately 6 meets throughout the season.
The coaching staff consist of volunteers who believe in supporting our youth and building community.
Please contact the Queen Anne Community Center for registration information. 206-386-4240
